对称的自然 A Symmetrical Nature

将生命和生命的重复，
视为一种时间的对称；
而剪纸亦是纸张对称的艺术，
对称之下成就一种无限性，
寓意生命反复循环的自然无限。
Life and the repetition of life,
as a symmetry of time;
Paper cutting is also an art of symmetry,
under which there is an infinity,
meaning a life cycle of infinite nature.
这是一片崭新的图腾森林。人与异植的纹样相继接驳，游走的剪纸线条中又留有斑斓的空白。当身处林中或俯视林内，在不同的高度与角度中，皆有不可预知的形色。
This is a new forest of totems. The audience would’ve also been connected with the different planting patterns, wandering in the paper-cut lines and leave a colorful blank. When in the forest or looking down on it, at different heights and angles, there are unpredictable shapes and colors.
同时，在装置不同层次的大片蓝色中，融入粉紫色调，奇丽却和谐。粉色在粉丸的作品中，每每大量而难以忽视。但这次，粉调好像不是主角，而是飘忽不定的可能性，友好附着在其它色彩之上，正如一种重新“回归”自然的意味，带有艺术家手中的热诚。
In the large blue of different levels of the installation, the pink purple tone is integrated, which is wonderful but harmonious. Pink in the works of Chen Fenwan is often large and difficult to be ignored. But this time, it's as if the pink tone is not the main character, but the floating possibility, friendly attached to the other colors, like a "return" to nature again, with the enthusiasm in the hands of the artist.
装置使用手工着色环保纸与光面镭射纸的搭配。由于不同纸面材质特点与冷色调相呼应，装置会在不同光束下显现更多色彩。这一点在夜幕降临时更为明显，褪去白日光辉的森林就此披上幕布，仿佛这些颜色是森林自己的决定。
The installation uses a combination of hand-colored environment-friendly paper and glossy laser paper. Because the different material characteristics respond to the cool color palette, it displays more colors in different light beams. This is especially evident at night, when the forest, which has lost its light during the day, is shrouded in curtains, as if the colors were the forest's own decision.
被问及创作理念时，粉丸曾阐述她心底的对称与自然：
“我说对称是一个动词。平衡共生，是人试图对称自然；蓝色，是海洋试图对称天空。生命的循环，是上一个时间试图对称下一个时间。而在这个空间里，剪纸就是对称本身。我制造了一个景观，去对称心里涌动的风景。“
When asked about her conceptual idea, she once explained the symmetry and nature in her heart:
"I said symmetry is a verb. Balanced symbiosis is the attempt of human beings to match nature; Blue is the ocean trying to match the sky. The cycle of life is the attempt of the previous time to symmetry the next time. In this space, paper-cutting is symmetry itself. I created a landscape to be symmetrical with the surge in my heart. "
除图腾树外，还遍布散落在地的异植。

对称之前：蔚蓝浸泡记录
Before the symmetry：immerse in blue.
在作品的前期制作过程中，丸工作室的小伙伴们也度过了一小段拥抱蓝调的工作时期。我们用了各种各样的方式进行蓝色实验，当中包括绘写、涂抹、喷色、裁切、粘贴、组装，最后平移目的地。一段沉浸式的蔚蓝体验，像是践行着作品最初的主题：对称、模仿。
During the pre-production process, we spent a short period of time working with the blues. We experimented with blue in a variety of ways, including drawing, painting, spraying, cutting, pasting, assembling, and finally moving to the destination. An immersive azure experience seems to practice the original theme of the work: symmetry and imitation.
