陈粉丸在创作上常将中国民间剪纸与当代艺术结合，曾被媒体誉为“90后顶级剪纸艺术家”。她的作品以纸的媒材性为创作语言，不局限于既定载体和空间体量界限，为作品及其所在的空间赋予叙事性极强的想象力。在她看来，剪纸是技法，更是站立于当下的观念。同时，她擅长将细腻的个体经验与公众记忆相结合，在创作中寻求集体的情感共鸣。
陈粉丸于2019年入选中国当代艺术年鉴著录艺术家。2021年联合浙江美术馆通过大众征集创作大型公共空间作品《矢量西湖》，2022年参展广东南海大地艺术节并创作在地作品《阿墙》及《大地窗花》，2023年，于深圳木星美术馆举办个人综合性的大型个展《那个剪纸的——陈粉丸》。其代表性作品《转运花园》曾展出于2021年成都双年展、2019年浙江美术馆十年大展；《不息》于2018年-2024年间曾在中国各地巡展13次。自2014年至今，她将「对称」作为个人研究课题与创作的核心关怀，持续创作《对称的自然》系列等大型作品，其中《对称系列：风筝》于2024年展出于上海世博会博物馆，不断以当代创作方式为这一研究主题赋予阶段性新解。
Chen Fenwan often combines Chinese folk paper-cutting with contemporary art in her works， she was praised as the Top paper-cutting artist of the post-90s generation in China by the media. Her works use the materiality of paper as creation language, breaking the established boundaries of material carriers and spatial volumes, and giving an imagination of narrative to the creation and the space. In her opinion, paper-cutting is not only a technique but also a way of thinking based on the present. Meanwhile， she is good at combining her personal experience with public memories and seeking collective emotional resonance in creation.
Chen Fenwan was selected for the Chinese Modern Art Archive (CMAA) and The Exhibition of Annual of Contemporary Art of China in 2019. In 2021, Chen Fenwan created The West Lake in Vectorial Dynamic as a public artwork through public solicitation in Zhejiang Art Museum; in 2022, two site-specific artworks, Hello, Walls and Papercut on the Earth’s Window, were both exhibited in Art Field Nanhai Guangdong; in 2023, she held a comprehensive large-scale solo-exhibition THE PAPER CUTTER - Chen Fenwan at Shenzhen Jupiter Art Museum. Lucky Garden as one of her representatives, participating Chengdu Biennale Exhibition in 2021, as well as the ten-year exhibition of Zhejiang Art Museum in 2019; Infinite has been touring exhibited for 13 times from 2018 to 2024. Since 2014, she has taken "symmetry" as the core concern of her personal research topic and creation, during the continuous creation of large-scale works such as A Symmetrical Nature series and Symmetrical Series: Kite which was exhibited in World Expo Museum in 2024, she is continuously giving new interpretation to this research object by the form of contemporary paper-cutting.

与此同时，陈粉丸试图用作品与更多维的场域及观众对话，探索商业与艺术之间的价值张力与合作可能。其中包括联手知名国际品牌卡地亚（Cartier）创作大型空间装置《无限之花》，于2021年在上海当代艺术博物馆展出；受芬迪（FENDI）之邀，合作打造艺术家款Peekaboo手袋并参与2023 FENDI “Hand in Hand”匠心艺术展；与古驰（Gucci）联名发布动态装置《空竹存忆》。2024年，作品《对称系列：风筝》于上海世博会博物馆展出；2023年受北京凤凰中心邀请参与“了不起的“她们”——福布斯致敬卓越女性艺术家邀请展”；2022年，她受邀参与CCTV1《诗画中国》节目录制、用大型装置作品呈现故宫珍宝《牡丹二十四种图》，同年携手安踏（ANTA）创作12个冰雪运动项目剪纸场景，为北京冬奥助力；2021年，与迪士尼（Disney）、奔驰（Mercedes-Benz）一起探索“好奇无界”，期间创作《米奇能量图》与《想像力散播计划》参与米奇艺术展全球多站巡展；而后，与奔驰再度联手创作《对称的自然》系列之《星河绽放》。与此同时，该年她受邀在淘宝造物节展出代表作之一《不息》、与巴黎水（Perrier）共同打造装置作品《明日光合作用》，备受认可与瞩目。
近年，陈粉丸与各类品牌的联名合作也不断丰富作品类型与拓宽共创边界。2024年龙年新春期间，为可口可乐（Coca-Cola）设计“龙年限定罐”包装在亚洲地区上线，携手宇舶表（Hublot）共同打造艺术家联名Big Bang Titanium Dragon 限量款腕表，并在巴黎欧莱雅（L'ORÉAL）合作中全新演绎《不息》之龙腾飞之姿。2023年，与蔻驰（COACH）联名推出产品《花舞如爱》、与卡地亚（Cartier）再度联手创作《花城豹影》，并于新春期间携手多个品牌如优衣库(UNIQLO) 、资生堂（SHISEIDO）、上下 （SHANG XIA）一同推出新春主视觉创作及系列联名产品；2022年，与巴宝莉 （Burberry）、人头马 （Rémy Martin）先后联名创作《一山容二虎》与《不马虎》。另有为惠普（HP）创作《创造乌托邦》、在Vans旗舰店晾起灯光装置《衫》、成为Niko and...首位联名合作中国艺术家，且先后与戴尔（DELL）、哈维·尼克斯（Harvey Nichols）、世界自然基金会（WWF）等进行跨界联名。
此外，陈粉丸还曾在国内众多知名商业地产空间举办艺术项目。近年来，《对称的自然》系列曾于成都远洋太古里、沈阳恒隆广场、宁波阪急百货、成都万象天地、温州滨江万象城多地展出，备受欢迎。2022至2023年，她为佛山岭南天地陆续创作10周年艺术特展《10倍的快乐》、龙年特别装置《Loooooooooong》。2021年，受天津k11邀请参与“Select艺术家驻留计划”，并创作大型装置作品《津天于天津》。2020至2021年跨年之际，联合华润万象体系在中国29个城市呈现“转运”系列公共艺术项目；还曾与万象城、中国新天地、新世界集团、中海地产、恒隆广场等合作。
At the same time, Chen Fenwan tries to use her works to dialogue with more dimensional fields and audiences, exploring the value tension and cooperation between business and art. Among them, she cooperated with the well-known international brand Cartier to create large scale installation Floral Infinity which was exhibited in Power Station of Art in Shanghai in 2021; invited by FENDI to create an artist version of the Peekaboo handbag and participated in the 2023 FENDI "Hand in Hand" Ingenuity Art Exhibition; co-published dynamic installation Bamboo as Our Bond with Gucci. And her work Symmetrical Series: Kite was exhibited in the World Expo Museum in 2024; she was invited to “A Tribute Exhibition to Outstanding Female Artists” by Forbes(China) and PHOENIX CENTER(Beijing). In 2022, she was invited to participate in the recording of CCTV1's "Poetry and Painting of China" program, presenting the Forbidden City treasure Twenty-four Kinds of Peonies with her installation work. Also, she worked with ANTA to create paper-cut scenes for 12 ice and snow sports events, supporting the Beijing Winter Olympics. In 2021, together with Disney and Mercedes-Benz, she participated in “Mickey: The True Original Exhibition World Tour”. Later, she joined hands with Benz again in A Symmetrical Nature with Stars. In the same year, one of her representative works, Infinite was invited to participate in the TAOBAO The Glimpse of Creativity 2021 exhibition, and co-created the installation Breathing of Future Plants with Perrier. All of her works have received recognition and attention.
In recent years, the co-branding between Chen Fenwan and various brands has also continuously enriched the types of her works and broadened the boundaries of co-creation. During the 2024 Chinese New Year of the Dragon, the "Year of the Dragon Limited Can" packaging created by her for Coca-Cola launched in Asia, and “Spirit of BIG-BANG Year of Titanium Dragon” limited watches created in collaboration with Hublot, and the dragon of Infinite shows its soaring posture in cooperation with L'OREAL. In 2023, jointly launched the co-brand product Dance Like Falling in Love with COACH and A Panther Nimbly Acrosses with Cartier again; also joined hands with many brands such as UNIQLO, SHISEIDO and SHANG XIA during the Chinese New Year to design a series of key visual and related products for the Spring Festival. In 2022, she and Burberry and Rémy Martin successively co-created A Mountain Lives Two Tigers and Do Not Ma-Hu. Meanwhile, she created Utopia for HP, hung a light installation Clothes in Vans Parc Central store, became Niko and…’s first co-branded Chinese artist; cross-over with DELL, Harvey Nichols, WWF, etc.
In addition, she has organized art projects with many well-known commercial estate spaces in China. In recent years, the Symmetrical Nature series has been exhibited at TaikooLi(Chengdu), Forum 66(Shenyang) Ningbo Hankyu, Chengdu MixC and Wenzhou Binjiang Mixc and has been very popular. From 2022 to 2023, she has created the 10th-anniversary art exhibition Tenfold Happiness and installation Loooooooooong for the Year of the Dragon for XINTIANDI Foshan. In 2021, she was invited by K11(Tianjin) to participate in the " Tianjin K11 Select Artist-in-residence Program " and created a large-scale installation work Jintian in Tianjin. On New Year's Eve 2020-2021, Chen Fenwan and the China Resources Mixc jointly presented her Lucky Garden series of public art projects in 29 cities in China. And she has also cooperated with The Mixc Shanghai, XINTIANDI, New World Development Company Limited, China Overseas, Plaza 66, etc.
